Check Out Our Y-Box
Sure, Overtime wrapped principle photography last month, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few things here and there that need to be shot. Pickup shots, a couple of inserts, and, most importantly, the Y-Box commercial.
Of everything we’ve done on this movie, I was most looking forward to shooting the Y-Box stuff. Don’t get me wrong–shooting alien zombies ripping people to shreds was a blast. But sometimes as a director of photography you just want to shoot pretty girls in pretty outfits doing pretty things.
So today, Matt, Joe, Daniel, myself and a group of talented models and makeup artists gathered at the studio to shoot the “commercial within the movie” for the next step in gaming technology: the Y-Box 720.
You can check out pics from the shoot on our facebook page. It was one of the most fun days I’ve had on set to date.
Finally, I have to send out a huge thanks to makeup artist and designer Matthew Tyldesley and models Amy Sheckles, Jamie Duvall, Maria Hilp, Michelle Metz, and Soreyda Benedit-Begley. Thanks for helping us bring the crazy vision to life.
